Our Business

Credit Counsellors of Las Vegas 2 has been serving the Las Vegas area for more than 22 years.  We are license, bonded, and governed by the Financial Institutions Division of the State of Nevada and credited by the Better Business Bureau and the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. 

Our staff is dedicated to educating our clients to better understand the credit lending industry as well as how to live with a spending plan to insure a future of wiser financial choices.  We are here for our clients first.

Owner-

      Lauri Blair -

Lauri began working with Credit Counsellors in 1974, leaving the finance/collection industry as an assistant manager to a very successful finance company, to better help people  manage their finances and liquidate  their debts.  She has a passion for helping people that have gotten into debt for various reasons and a knack for negotiating the impossible.. After being "on the other side of the financial industry," she saw a real need for educating the public on the financial world as well as how to manage everyday living expenses and still keep debt ratio at a low.  At that time, Credit Counsellors was the oldest agency in Nevada, and the only company licensed and bonded with the State Financial Institutions in Las Vegas. ( the original company opened in Nevada in 1969.  Lauri worked her way up to counselor in a matter of two years.  In 1976, she also obtained her brokers license with the Real Estate Division, which she remained a broker for 11 years, selling residential properties, managing rental properties and overseeing a small mortgage company.  All this along with continuing to aid with the Credit Counsellors company.  Lauri also has been preparing tax returns for our clients for the last eight years.

In 1986, Lauri and Ray Eccleston (the original owner of Credit Counsellors,who assisted in developing laws governing our industry), decided to open another office in the East part of Las Vegas.  Lauri managed that office until March of 2007, when she secured full ownership of Credit Counsellors, which became CREDIT COUNSELLORS OF LAS VEGAS 2.  The office moved to our present location, after 21 years being located on E. Sahara Avenue.

  Lauri continues to actively counsel and prepare budgets as well as tax returns for our clients.

Crystal Crowther -

Crystal has worked  for CCLV2 since 1995. She offers a vast knowledge of the banking industry, having worked for major banks for eight years prior to coming on board with our firm. . Crystal has experience as a teller, merchant teller, proof operator, customer service, new accounts, including opening CD's, IRA and other products on a branch level. On the operations level, she has experience in the ACH Dept, managing paperless transactions, which included, ACH disputes, reversals, reclamations, exceptions, returns, stop payments,  and handled responsibilities as day controller. As a day controller,  Crystal ran transmissions, corporate figures as well as ACH tapes. She expertly balanced all system  transactions to be transmitted to the Federal Reserve. Many of these duties required extensive research, troubleshooting and problem solving.  She's familiar with just about every department in the banking industry!

Crystal also managed a construction office, including overseeing accounting and troubleshooting.

With Crystal, you will find a very compassionate counselor who takes an active interest in our clients well-being along with ferreting out information and solutions that brings success to hopeless situations.
